In this message, “Get Ahead of It,” we explore 1 Kings 18:41–46 and Elijah’s response to God’s promise of rain after years of drought. This teaching challenges believers to stop living reactively and start living proactively by faith. Through Elijah’s persistence in prayer, humility before God, and willingness to run ahead of Ahab’s chariot, we discover that disciples are called to trust God’s promises before they become visible realities. When we keep pace with the Holy Spirit instead of the culture around us, we position ourselves to walk in God’s purpose and move ahead of what He is preparing to do.
