A Strong Local Church – we are a local church which functions as an extension of the global Church. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world and the means by which people can bring hope to that world. It is by partnering with the local church and remaining planted that blessing flows. Ps 92:13 “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God."
A “Living Jesus” Church– the type of church that expresses the tangible love of Jesus through an incarnational approach to the community. It is about living out the word, not simply preaching it.
A Church for the Dying World – we recognize that the world around us is dying and is in desperate need of the gospel of Grace. Although sin is destructive and part of the human condition, we love the sinner and believe in their total freedom through Jesus.
A Church of Connection – connection is the key to growth. In John 15, Jesus tells us that if we remain connected to Him we will bear much fruit. It is through connecting with God, His people, and His purpose that abundant life is achieved and expressed.
A Purpose-driven Church – life must not be lived out accidentally, but intentionally. We will intentionally engage in sharing the gospel both corporately and personally through the gifts that are in our hands, the passion that is in our hearts, and the people that are in our world.
A Large & Growing Church – a church that is not growing is dying. God is a God of growth and multiplication. We are focused on growth not for the sake of numbers, but the sake of people.
An Influential Church – a church that is focused on being the influencer in its community, city, and generation- not being influenced by those things.
A Community-engaging Church – our community is the sphere in which we do life. We believe that God has a desire for our communities to come to salvation and has strategically placed us in
those communities for their benefit.
A Generationally Relevant Church – the message of the church, the people, and the service
must be culturally relevant to this generation. The message of the gospel is ageless, but the method through which we share it must continually change to be relevant.
A Compassionate Church – compassion does not merely see the need, it does something to change the situation. We will be focused on meeting the opportunities of our world with tangible, transformational compassion.
A Gift Developing Church – inside each person there dwells both natural and supernatural gifts. Through a variety of methods, we will give people the opportunity to develop and utilize the gifts they’ve been given for the good of the community.
A Church of Multi-complexity – the kingdom of God should reflect the people of God. I see a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational church that reflects the heartbeat of the Father.
A Church Founded in Grace – grace is not a doctrine but a person, Jesus. This church is a church whose foundation is planted in grace, it’s environment is one of grace, and it’s message the gospel of grace.
A Leadership Development Church – people don’t follow ideas, they follow leaders. This church must develop leaders of every kind in order to help lead people of every kind.
Kingdom Advancing Church – there is only one thing that is everlasting and that is the Kingdom of God. I see a church whose purpose, people, and approach to life is solely focused on advancing the Kingdom of God for His glory.
